OBC REPORTER

Thank you so much for your ministry. It has meant so much to me...I have enrolled many others across...well, the globe. I am a Pastor and we are starting an internship program. Part of the program is the requirement that each intern complete the first year of OBC. Thank you for making this free of charge once again. Some of our interns can easily afford it, but others could not. What a blessing this college has been to us. Also, I was able to communicate with Dr David Collins quite a bit when I first enrolled. The school was much, much smaller then. I was skeptical and wanted answers before I pointed others in your direction. He was so gracious, so patient, and so wise in the answers and direction he gave to me. I continue to tell others about his life and ministry. What a legacy! Thousands touched and changed all over the world. It is an inspiration to me, as I’m sure it is to others. JS, Ohio USA.

OBC student, Karenna Laklem, has been leading many of the OBC Live students at the Asian Tribal Ministries base in Chiangmai, Thailand, in outreaches to the villages in the remote jungle areas. They have seen many come to the Lord.
The great need now, she says, is for Bibles and follow-up. Using those who can read, she plans to organize "Bible Readers" in each village and from the OBC Live School see students trained to be travelling ministries between the villages. As well as this she is directing the ATM ministry “Children of the Border” - a ministry to the orphans of the tribal peoples displaced because of the near 60-year-long war on the border of Burma.

[The college] has been and continues to be most helpful in my ministry. I am currently a lay preacher in our fellowship...I am about to hopefully begin ministry as a school chaplin in 2008. Michael.
