Online Bible College : A Global Institute of Learning
Thank you so much for your ministry. It has meant so much to me...I have enrolled many others across...well, the globe. I am a Pastor and we are starting an internship program. Part of the program is the requirement that each intern complete the first year of OBC. Thank you for making this free of charge once again. Some of our interns can easily afford it, but others could not. What a blessing this college has been to us. Also, I was able to communicate with Dr David Collins quite a bit when I first enrolled. The school was much, much smaller then. I was skeptical and wanted answers before I pointed others in your direction. He was so gracious, so patient, and so wise in the answers and direction he gave to me. I continue to tell others about his life and ministry. What a legacy! Thousands touched and changed all over the world. It is an inspiration to me, as I’m sure it is to others. JS, Ohio USA.
Chiangmai OBC IT Development Team
We are proud and happy to be a part of developing the new Online Bible College website, and wish OBC students all the best for the new year. If you are interested in developing a website with us please feel free to email us at info@dgzoo.com
In the first few days of the new website there have been enquiries concerning the courses from 1046 cities around the world.
In the first week 150 new students have enrolled.
OBC student, Karenna Laklem, has been leading many of the OBC Live students at the Asian Tribal Ministries base in Chiangmai, Thailand, in outreaches to the villages in the remote jungle areas. They have seen many come to the Lord.
The great need now, she says, is for Bibles and follow-up. Using those who can read, she plans to organize "Bible Readers" in each village and from the OBC Live School see students trained to be travelling ministries between the villages. As well as this she is directing the ATM ministry “Children of the Border” - a ministry to the orphans of the tribal peoples displaced because of the near 60-year-long war on the border of Burma.
Students write:
Congratulations on your new site! I consider the OBC courses one of the greatest blessings of 2007 for me and have recommended it to family and friends. …Thank you. May God continue to bless you in your wonderful work in His will. GM.
[The college] has been and continues to be most helpful in my ministry. I am currently a lay preacher in our fellowship...I am about to hopefully begin ministry as a school chaplin in 2008. Michael.

The World We Live In
The World We Live In Our world is in trouble. We have experienced horrific tsunamis with the fear of more to come. Every year there are more earthquakes, more massive floods, more fires, more typhoons, more wars, terrorism and violence everywhere. With climate change dramatically effecting our earth most scientists have given us 10 to 60 years unless we change our pollution-filled life-styles immediately. What does the Lord say about this?
"There will be signs in the sun moon and stars. On the earth, nations will be in anguish and perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the sea. Men will faint from terror, apprehensive of what is coming on the world..." Luke 21:25-26.
We must get serious as those called by the Lord to bring the Gospel to the ends of the earth. Missionary statesman, J. Oswald Smith once said,
"Why should anyone hear the Gospel twice before everyone has heard it once?"
This is our job to help train people from 160 nations. You can help by being a harvester - by speaking to people about the Gospel and inviting your friends to enrol in the free OBC courses. Let us together make a difference in our world.
We are surrounded by the battles of evil. In the last few minutes someone has take a cocktail of drugs that is tearing their body and soul apart...someone has thought that suicide was the only escape to their problems...someone has been devastated by a broken relationship. Many walk with no hope. There is only one answer - the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. This is the good news the world is so desperately needing to hear. This is our mission. This is our daily quest. God the Father sent Heaven’s best to die for us all, to set us free from the ravages of sin in our lives and its outworking in the world around us. Never forget the call of God upon your life!
